Hiding in plain sight, West Somerset’s amateur music scene is thriving.

Far too often, these dedicated musicians find themselves playing to each other, a couple of regulars and the publican’s dog. Either that or battling to be heard above a wash of chatter and laughter.

Our Festival is here to put that right, to showcase local artists who play simply for the love of music. Here, we bring together players and singers from our pubs and clubs and give them a festival of their own.

Some have been playing all their lives; others are just starting out. This is a rare opportunity for them to perform on a larger stage — so please join us in giving them a warm welcome to CRAMPTONBURY ‘26
